Serena Road House Fires

Here is a short blog of three houses that burned down on July 7, 2004.
These houses were under construction and no one was hurt, but the heat was so intense that we could feel it from our house 450 feet away, like the feeling of the exposure of the sun to fresh sun burn.















The day after we took these pictures of the aftermath.

Snow Day

Here is a short page for the snow in NM, and Chloe makes this look like a blizzard here.










But then she stops for a bite to eat.

Durango & Silverton

This was our first ride on the Durango & Silverton Railroad.

We went ahead and reserved passage on the Parlor Car and it was well worth it.

The view from the parlor car was exceptional

About half way up to Silverton the Train stops for lunch and we took the opportunity for a few more photos.

Here I did not get enough time to get from the camera to pose point.

Tent Rocks

This was our vacation to Tent Rocks NM in July 2007

Here at tent rocks friends can wonder through the canyon without fear of the hot sun.
